Daniel Alholm

Mr. Alholm focuses his practice on representing Plaintiffs in civil litigation. Mr. Alholm has experience and practices in many legal fields, particularly personal injury, subrogation, employment discrimination and commercial litigation. He is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Illinois State Bar Association and The National Association of Subrogation Professionals. Mr. Alholm is licensed in the State of Illinois and in the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Alholm grew up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He received his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from Southern Methodist University. While in law school, he clerked at Cooney and Conway in Chicago. Following law school, he worked at Alholm, Monahan, Klauke, Hay & Oldenburg, LLC, a firm founded as Alholm and Monahan by his late father Tony Alholm and Peter Monahan in 1989. In 2006, he left Alholm, Monahan, Klauke, Hay, & Oldenburg and briefly worked in-house at a major insurance company before founding The Alholm Law Firm, P.C. in 2007.

Mr. Alholm founded The Alholm Law Firm, P.C. as his way of honoring and carrying on his father’s name and reputation throughout the legal community. He constantly practices the lessons his father taught him by treating all individuals who seek his legal counsel with the utmost respect, fairness, and honesty, while zealously representing and assisting them with the highest level of dignity and professionalism.

Mr. Alholm lives on the north side of Chicago with his wife, Brooke and his daughter Parker. When not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his family, rooting for his beloved Chicago sports teams, traveling, reading, studying Twentieth Century Art, and living in what he considers the greatest city in the world. For several years he has actively volunteered his time with The Off The Street Club of Chicago and he regularly donates his legal services to a multitude of charitable causes and organizations.
